On Sunday, August 26, 2012, Edwin Cephus Thomas, age 36, of Bridgeport died suddenly when the car he was riding in drifted off Route 25 North and struck a tractor-trailer. Thomas was a proud father of three: Shekeem Oneil Thomas and Shameka Akelia Thomas, both of Jamaica, as well as one-year-old Edwin Cephus Thomas III of Connecticut.
