Recycling Life Lessons

Recycling Life Lessons

Today Josh Cohen, the founder and owner of The Junkluggers, visited the Fairfield Warde High School in Fairfield, CT. With an invitation from Mrs. Terwilliger, he addressed a group of twenty ninth grade business students.

Josh talked to the kids, keeping it upbeat and informal. He talked about how he started the business, and his best practices for maintaining a successful business. He shared stories of his biggest job, a 25 truckload hoarder’s clean out in Bridgeport and how when he was first starting out he would tape homemade fliers around town to generate business and exposure for his budding company. He got great feedback and hopes to be asked back every year to talk to the newest group of young entrepreneurs, bringing new stories and life lessons, as The Junkluggers grow in size and success.

Josh enjoys talking to the kids to inspire them to think successfully. You can’t start off successful, but if you start off thinking successfully, you will certainly find success. His message is simple: anything is possible and the sky’s the limit. His life lesson: treat your employees right and they will work hard for you and treat your customers right and they will keep coming back to you.

Thank you Mrs. Terwilliger and the kids at the Fairfield Warde High School for giving Josh the opportunity to recycle his life lessons.
