"This is an update of a review that I wrote in mid-June 2026 that gave The Junkluggers 2 stars. That review stated: "Did a good job of cleaning the stuff out, but demolished a drop down ladder from the attic ... They neither offered to replace the ladder they broke nor did they take money off the cost of cleanup." HOWEVER ... After having the ladder replaced (at a cost of $950), and sending the invoice to Junkluggers, they PROMPTLY reimbursed me. Hence I have updated their rating to 5 stars as that is more representative of their actual performance. The damage was done by a single employee who is no longer in their employ."

"I used Junkluggers of Greater Mid-Michigan to help me with cleaning out a significant amount of junk, trash, and otherwise unwanted items from my basement and garage. Preston, Kevin and the front-office were great to work with, friendly, and made quick work of removing everything. I spent time considering whether to get rid of things via trash pickup (limited) or removing it myself (a hassle). Ultimately, I was able to quickly schedule them and get RESULTS. Key points: - Straightforward & time saver for the cost; Pricing was reasonable/effective - the process went quickly on day of removal by organizing in advance what I wanted gone but was not a requirement to removal - keep hazardous fluids and aerosols separate; they don't take those items - save yourself some funds by breaking down cardboard to reduce space used in truck, but not required - I don't have feedback on the donation aspect of their service but found it appealing versus taking things separately to donation centers locally."
