Mike Schumacher

Mike Schumacher was born and raised in Grangeville, Idaho. He went to college and played college football for five years at Montana Tech. After graduating with a business degree, Mike moved to Seattle, Washington, where he began his career in the third party logistics arena. He married his wife, Janae, and after five years in Seattle, they moved to central Washington as Mike took a promotion and got into leadership. They spent three years in Yakima, Washington, prior to relocating to the Treasure Valley area in 2001 when Mike was afforded the opportunity to open a branch location for his employer.

In his previous experience, Mike served as a General Manager for 17 years before moving into a Key Account Management role. In his free time, Mike loves spending time with family, attending his kids' sporting events, camping, hiking, fishing, and traveling. He has been married to Janae for the past 23 years, and they have two boys, Derek and Drew, who are 17 and 15, respectively.

Mike has noticed that The Treasure Valley is growing rapidly, and he values access to the mountains, rivers, and lakes. The Junkluggers is committed to keeping these places pristine so that generations to come will be able to share in our enjoyment. He chose the Junkluggers because it was different from other companies in that it aims to keep unwanted items out of landfills, and to help find useful purposes for these items that clients no longer need.
