What do you do with old office cubicles and workstations?

Cubicles are bolted together in place, so they need to be taken apart before they can leave the building. You can often sell large, matched sets to liquidators and donate the ones that are in good shape. But for everything else, it often makes sense to have a commercial crew like The Junkluggers disassemble and haul them for you.

Cubicles don’t show up in offices fully formed. They need to be assembled on-site. When it comes time to close a location or move, those cubicles then need to be disassembled. Then the panels, brackets, work surfaces, and cable trays can be moved somewhere else. This is the only way to make this happen.

Reselling cubicles can be tricky. It works for big, matched sets of current brands. But if you have a dozen mismatched older stations and no ready buyer, it can be hard to offload them. When resale and donation both fall through, a commercial crew disassembles the stations and hauls them out. That teardown labor is billed at an hourly rate, set at the time of estimate.

On disposal, steel frames are often recycled. Laminate tops usually cannot be. Everything else usable goes to donation. When we donate on your behalf, you may see a tax-deductible donation receipt within 14 business days when appropriate. We handle furniture and heavy removal across Smyrna, Kennesaw, and the broader West Atlanta metro.

If you have other heavy items that need to go, The Junkluggers can help you there too. We’re able to take furniture, cabinets, desks, and more. We can also coordinate with you to do the haul-away in one visit after-hours or on the weekend, so we don’t unnecessarily disturb your team when they would otherwise be working.

Ready to clear the old workstations? Schedule your pickup online. The Junkluggers of West Atlanta serves Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Woodstock, Canton, Cumming, Smyrna, and Powder Springs.
