"On Sat 7/12/2025 I hired the JunkLuggers to remove many antique furniture pieces from my home. They called to let me know that they were on their way and they arrived on time. Two nice guys walked with me to look at what was leaving with them and immediately gave me a quote. Pricing very fair and they got the job. "I own Davidson Organizing and have used Junkluggers many times. In 2017 they cleared out my mom's apartment when she moved to assisted living. I have recommended them to multiple clients who have all been pleased with their professionalism and turnkey service. Many appreciated that they didn't have to make the agonizing decisions of where the items should go. Most already have decision fatigue and they like only deciding to let an item go and not having to make the additional decision of which are trash, recycling, and donate. The convenience of not having to go to multiple places and leaving the heavy lifting to the pros is worth the fees. "This is the second time we’ve used the umbrella company of Junkluggers, after a prior positive experience in NJ. We selected them again in NC after comparing their pricing here with two other quotes. The estimates from all three were nearly identical (Junkluggers coming in at about $10 less), and each company was equally polite and helpful On the phone, but we went with the company we know and had a great experience with in the past. Happily, second time was just as positive. The communication was excellent, from initial two conversations with phone reps’ detailed questions (we called back after comparing quotes) and clear explanations of pricing, through calls the day before and morning of to confirm the booking & time of arrival — much appreciated as we were coming from a distance. They came smack in the middle of the two-hour window we’d agreed to, which was helpful. The number of movers and trucks sent was well-planned, ensuring quick and efficient removal. And each of the four movers were equally professional, figuring out tricky door clearances and taking other challenges in stride. They worked well together and even joked among themselves, despite the hard work, which seems to indicate a decent work environment even though it’s clear those work days must be filled with surprises and tough situations.
