When our CEO Josh Cohen started The Junkluggers in 2004, he used his mom’s SUV and operated out of a small storage closet in his father's office. Brand-conscious from the start, he painted one wall in the tiny room a brilliant shade of green. That dazzlingly green wall served as a constant reminder of where Josh wanted to take the company. From the get-go, The Junkluggers green has represented the high-energy and eco-friendly focus our company lives out every day.
The commitment to strengthening and defining The Junkluggers brand began in the earliest days of our company and continues to guide our growth. Since the beginning, Josh knew he was on to something great so in 2013, after nearly 10 years in business, Josh took the step to bring his eco-friendly services to more neighborhoods across the country through franchising. With a dedicated corporate staff and highly trained franchise owners, The Junkluggers works hard at building brand awareness and visibility as we continue to grow across the United States.
In 2019, the Junkluggers further strengthened our franchise system by partnering with Contractor Nation, a sales and marketing driven company dedicated to helping home improvement businesses grow and thrive.
