Westchester County Charity Partners

We strive to donate as many of your items that we lug away as possible. Not only is this beneficial to your community, as those in need receive much needed furniture, clothing, and other items, it is also great for the environment because we are keeping useful items out of the landfill.

And not only are your items going to a great cause, you are also benefiting in the form of a tax deductible receipt! You pay us to remove your items, and for your part in choosing an eco-friendly solution solution to your junk removal needs, we are happy to pay it forward and pass along the savings to you. The tax-deductible receipt can sometimes off-set most or even all of the cost of our services depending on the items we are able to donate on your behalf!

If you know of another local charity in Westchester County that could benefit from our donations, please give us a call at 914-200-4552 and let us know!

Habitat Restore Mt. Vernon Warehouse

The ReStore accepts donations of new or nearly new building supplies, furniture and appliances from individuals, contractors, and businesses. Some of the materials will be used to build Habitat homes, and any extra materials will be sold at the Habitat ReStore. Proceeds from the ReStore benefit Habitat for Humanity in its applicable region.

The Humane Society Thrift Shop

The New Rochelle Humane Society is dedicated to providing individual loving care for lost, abandoned, injured, and mistreated animals. We bring donations for them to sell in their shop to raise funds to provide animal controls services to the community and to keep the animals at the shelter happy and healthy.

Isaiah’s Room

Isaiah’s Room is an outreach program that takes place in New Rochelle at New York Covenant Church. Each Saturday, disadvantaged or homeless people are invited to help themselves to some clothing, along with food and coffee.

St. Thomas Church Thrift Shop

St. Thomas is the oldest congregation in Mamaroneck. The Junkluggers donates to their Thrift Shop and Used Book Store that is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, offering used clothing and small household items for sale. Proceeds benefit the congregation and helps to fund local outreach within the community.

Tommie Cares

The Tommie Cares Foundation works to create a world of inclusion for children with disabilities through adventure based activities. Tommie Cares focuses on planning activities that would not be regularly available to children with disabilities due to the need for adaptive equipment or additional support. By providing these new and unique opportunities, children with disabilities gain confidence and self-esteem, while our volunteers gain a new understanding of their abilities! The Tommie Cares Foundation works to prove that children with disabilities are no different than anyone else, they just need a different kind of support. Some of our adventures have included stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, outrigger canoeing, snow tubing and more!

Furniture Sharehouse

Furniture Sharehouse provides free furniture to economically disadvantaged individuals and families living in Westchester County, giving them the basic household furnishings that enable them to rebuild their lives and live with dignity.

Goodwill works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. You’ll spot Junkluggers trucks making donations at the Elmsford location in Westchester.
