Goodwill/Goodwill Industries
Goodwill/Goodwill Industries is a nationwide organization with the mission of putting people to work. Goodwill's Retail Services collect donated clothing and household goods, then sells the items in their stores for affordable prices. Revenue from sales of donated items provides funding for vocational training and other programs and services that Goodwill offers. It is important to note that 93 cents of every dollar they spend goes directly to their programs and services. Goodwill is consistently ranked among top charities that make your donation go further.
Neighborhood Bridges Dublin
Dublin Bridges advocates for children, seniors, and neighbors. Our advocates identify specific needs, then we alert the community through email and social media, and the community fills the needs. We have helped hundreds of Dublin residents in need receive food, clothing, eye exams, school fees, furniture, backpacks, undergarments, shoes, dental visits, jackets and more.
Volunteers of America
At Volunteers of America, we are more than a nonprofit organization. We are a ministry of service that includes nearly 16,000 paid, professional employees dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Through our hundreds of human service programs, including housing and healthcare, Volunteers of America touches the lives of 1.5 million people in over 400 communities in 46 states as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico each year. Since 1896, we have supported and empowered America's most vulnerable groups, including veterans, at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions. Our work touches the mind, body, heart - and ultimately the spirit - of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.
Welcome Warehouse
Welcome Warehouse exists because you care about helping your neighbors in need, and we want to help you do that! Our job is to connect families in the Dublin City School District with the resources they need to thrive. Many families in our community are temporarily in need because of job loss, underemployment, health crises, or other challenges. We work alongside the community to help families meet basic needs, and we offer friendship, spiritual support and hope for a better tomorrow.
