Meet the team
"I was born in Toms River but grew up on a horse farm in Wall Township where I learned how to ride horses, give pony cart rides, wrangle wild bulls on occasion and take care of various types of animals and plant life. After graduating college in Massachusetts, I starting my career in advertising and marketing in NYC where, for the next 20 years, I worked hand in hand with clients on national campaigns and marketing efforts and honed my love of working with people in order to achieve the results they want!
I moved back to the Jersey Shore in 2006 where I wanted to raise my family and give them the life and childhood that I so loved growing up here. And, while I loved working in advertising and marketing, I felt it was the right time in our lives for my focus to shift to our community and surrounding areas we decided to call home. The idea of running our own business, one that was so focused on giving back to the community, the fact of it being eco-friendly and socially responsible, and one that afforded me to be more “present”, both in our community and within our family, was and is incredibly appealing. Having been a consumer that has used companies like this in the past, I already bought into the need for the service—the ease, efficiency, and “worth every penny” idea of using the service. What drew us to The Junkluggers specifically was what makes the company stand out against the competition—the absolute emphasis on delivering a higher quality of service in a way that is more environmentally conscious, giving back to the community in several ways, and the sincerity of caring about the customers and their items. As the owner, my goal is to bring this fresh way of looking at item removal to our community, being able to offer a “second life” when possible to customer’s possessions through donation, and to have our business serve as a positive example in our community!"
