The Junkluggers Donates to Veterans

The Junkluggers have been donating furniture to Homes for the Brave, a rehabilitation and housing program for service veterans located throughout Fairfield County, CT. Junkluggers Director of Operations, Asher Fink, speaking at a Veterans’ Day lunch in New Haven, announced that The Junkluggers will be actively involved in taking usable furniture from local jobs and donating it to Homes for the Brave, which provides housing and services to more than 400 homeless veterans and non-veterans who struggle with psychiatric and/or substance abuse problems. The program provides safe and attractive housing, mental health and addiction services, vocational training, job placement, and life skills coaching to help individuals recover from homelessness.

Himself a veteran, Asher has served for 7 years in the U.S. Army as a leader of troops. Speaking to over 100 vets gathered at the VA, Asher confirmed The Junkluggers commitment to giving back to the community by donating and recycling usable items.
