It was while studying in Australia, during a semester break from the University of Connecticut that the idea for The Junkluggers came to him.

The year was 2004, and upon his return to the U.S., 21 year old Josh “Shuki” Cohen hit the streets handing out homemade flyers all around town. Soon
the phones began to ring off the hook. Armed only with his mom’s Dodge Durango SUV and a love for the environment, Josh began a company that would
soon lead the industry in environmentally friendly and community oriented junk removal practices.

A graduate from UConn business school and an avowed “tree-hugger”, Josh’s innovative ideas and passionate leadership skills have made The Junkluggers
one of the fastest growing young enterprises on the East Coast.

While the company continues to expand into new territories throughout the U.S., Josh still believes it is extremely important to not lose sight of
his original goals and ideals:

Asher Fink
Chief Operating Officer

As The Junkluggers’ COO, Asher supervises the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that The Junkluggers service continues to lead the
industry. He also manages customer and employee relations, company networking, and untapped markets acquisition.

Asher came to The Junkluggers after serving as a troop leader in the U.S. Army for seven years. During his tours, he earned his Bachelors
degree from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey, and after completing his service, Asher flexed his creative muscles in the advertising
industry in New York City.

Asher serves The Junkluggers with an invaluable skillset including strong leadership, team-building, creativity, and large-scale organization.
He is currently completing his MBA at NYU’s Stern Business School.

Josh Krisher
Finance Manager

Hailing from Seattle, WA, one of the greenest and most sustainable major cities in the country, Josh joins The Junkluggers as Finance Manager.
Josh is a Certified Public Accountant who previously spent three and a half years working in the financial services office of a Big Four public
accounting firm. Josh earned a BA in Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Washington. Go Huskies!
