JUNK REMOVAL HELPS THOSE IN NEED!
FAIRFIELD, CT, June 15, 2009 -- Keep your eyes peeled folks, those familiar bright green trucks are at it again! The Junkluggers, a junk removal company devoted to “going green,” is co-sponsoring with Ultimate Organizers, LLC their second charity tag sale, at 11 Eliot Street in Fairfield, CT, Saturday, June 27, 2009 from 8am to 2pm.
But wait - this is no ordinary tag sale! While people will be presented with the opportunity to buy items for a fraction of their value, all proceeds made for the day will also be donated to charities such as Norma Phrem Breast Care Center and The American Cancer Society. The goal for this event is to raise $10,000, and every penny will be donated to these organizations to help and assist those in need.
The items being sold have been collected and stored over time, specifically for this event. Those items include designer clothing, designer handbags, designer shoes, children’s games, kitchenware, furniture, and much more! In addition, a silent auction table will be set up where four Sound Tiger tickets will be given to the highest bidder. Ultimate Organizers, LLC has also generously donated a $250.00 gift certificate to the highest bidder, and many more items to come.
The strong efforts from the Junkluggers were complemented by Debi Koulogianis, President and CEO of Ultimate Organizers, LLC. This charity event would not have been possible without the help from Ms. Koulogianis and her strong passion to help others. Ms. Koulogianis has made a huge contribution, donating many items as well as countless hours of her time to assist with this cause and help to organize this event. Both Ms. Koulogianis, and CEO, Josh Cohen of The Junkluggers pooled together to give back to their local community once before, and after great success, they decided it would be a quarterly event.
“The success of the first tag sale was amazing. We salvaged lots of things people would ordinarily throw away, we sold them to be re-used at a fraction of the value, and we donated our profits to organizations with great causes,” explains Cohen. “…That is when I made the executive decision to host the tag-sale quarterly. We can’t afford to not help those in need.”
The charity tag sale is open to the public and will be taking place in the parking lot on the corner of Eliot Street and North Benson Road in Fairfield, CT, rain or shine!
