| Other Local Organizations - Because it pains us to throw usable junk into the landfills, we are constantly looking for places that will accept the great things we find on jobs. In our search, we have found local synagogues, churches and community centers more than happy to help us redistribute books, clothes, shoes, appliances, household goods and more... Digging deeper we have found special cases where individuals have made it their life's work to get great toys to kids, baby carriages to less fortunate new mother's, etc. Some of these people let us pull up to their front yards, and leave it on their doorstep!! The greatest Junklugger discovery thus far has been that there truly are amazing people everywhere you look. Sometimes you just have to be a part of the giving to find them. |
